Sunny joined the Sky Writers from its first meeting back in November. She is an amazing writer, and I’m excited to share a link to her freshly published book, Daniel the Draw-er. This is a great children’s story, because it is not only entertaining for children but also for adults. I’m glad to see this book out in the world, where it belongs. I feel it belongs on every children’s bookshelf in every bookstore across the world. This story demonstrates how fun reading can be. If your child is around the ages of 6 to 12, and you’ve struggled with getting them interested in reading, this is the story you’ve been looking for.
You can find the story HERE.
Here’s a short synopsis from the author:
“This is no ordinary pencil,” says the cat sitting on the end of nine-year-old Daniel’s bed. “It’s magic.”
Everything Daniel draws with his pencil–flying dragons, Octobears, and pizza-loving aliens from the planet Beezo–comes to life. It’s pretty awesome until the pencil draws a line between Daniel and his best (and only) friend Annie.
Come along with Daniel and his fantastic creatures on this fun-for-the-whole-family journey as he discovers that friendship is the greatest magic of all.
Daniel’s story was intended for children ages 6 to 106. The book contains no pictures.
